In Fallout 3 on the Mother Ship Zeta how do you get into the captains quarters?

I finished exploring the whole entire ship and took practically everything from it.. At the end however when you are on the bridge and destroy the other ship there is still no way to get into the captains quarters... It say this door is activated elsewhere... So is there even a way to get into that room or not...
